Cultivating Emotional Resilience for High School Girls
GirlGoCoach is a peer female mentorship program where women with lived experience are
paired with women who need support. They meet regularly and work through life skills, social needs, and educational support.
The Inner Garden Project is a nurturing 24-week wellness and resilience program designed to support high school girls (ages 14–18). Through creative expression, therapeutic practices, and sisterhood connection, girls learn to cultivate self-awareness, emotional literacy, and inner strength. Today’s high school girls are navigating an increasingly overwhelming and emotionally charged world, facing pressures around identity, body image, academic performance, and social connection all intensified by digital exposure. Without safe, supportive spaces, many turn to harmful coping mechanisms that put their futures at risk. The Inner Garden Project aims to change this narrative by creating a sacred, empowering environment where girls can explore their emotions, build resilience, and develop a strong sense of self-worth. By equipping them with tools for emotional literacy, self-awareness, and authentic connection, this program nurtures the next generation of confident, compassionate, and purpose-driven young women who will bloom beyond their circumstances and uplift their communities.
At the end of the 40-week program, a special event will be held to honor the completion of the program. This event known as Rite of Passage, will be a time of celebration and recognition. Participants will be given certificates, and sponsors of the program will be recognized and thanked. This ceremony will be a proud moment for all the mentees who have worked hard throughout the program and made a difference in their own lives, their families lives, and their community's lives. It will be a special way to recognize and celebrate their achievements and growth.
